First established in 1943 by Frederick S Snow, the practice continually expanded its activities and staff resources, and in 1965, became Sir Frederick Snow and Partners. In March 1989, the partnership was incorporated and the practice now includes two companies operating throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.

Professional expertise and experience are qualities the Practice has applied to projects throughout the world for more than seventy years. Commitment to clients requirements and to the highest levels of professional service, are factors which have enabled the Practice to develop as one of the leading consultancies across the complete spectrum of engineering disciplines.
