Project: Urgent Care Centre, Paediatric Assessment Unit and Clinical Decision Unit<\/strong>
\nClient: St George\u2019s Healthcare NHS Trust<\/em><\/p>\n

Phased refurbishment of an operational A&E department to provide a paediatric assessment unit, urgent care centre and clinical decision unit.<\/p>\n

Project: New Ward Block – Sunderland Royal Hospital<\/strong>
\nClient: City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Trust<\/em><\/p>\n

New 5 storey building with plant room and estates department on the ground floor and 3 wards and an ICCU on the upper floors. The building is of modular construction, and was constructed to very tight timescales. The external elevations have a render finish with a curved roof to match an adjoining building. Contract value: approx \u00a318.5m.<\/p>\n

Project: Multi Agency Specialist Hubs<\/strong>
\nClient: Kent County Council<\/em><\/p>\n

Three \u201cMulti Agency Specialist Hubs\u201d at Ashford, Thanet, and Swale, to provide shared bases for Kent County Council and NHS staff of the Eastern and Coastal Kent Primary Care Trust. The buildings include a range of services including: Children\u2019s speech and language therapy, children\u2019s occupational therapy, children\u2019s physiotherapy, children\u2019s audiology and visiting educational psychologists. The combined value of all three projects was \u00a310.1m.<\/p>\n

Client: Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust<\/em><\/p>\n

  • Project: Carlingford Centre<\/strong>
    \nNew unit for paediatric outpatients, specialist aseptic pharmacy, chemotherapy, sexual health centre, orthodontics and oral and maxillo-facial surgery. Project value \u00a36.1m.<\/li>\n
  • Project: Education Centre Extension<\/strong>
    \nExtension to operational clinical education centre. The building\u2019s energy efficient design uses exposed thermal mass to provide cooling. Project value \u00a33m<\/li>\n
  • Project: Spiritual Support Facility:<\/strong>
    \nVertical extension to existing building to form new chapel and faith room. An innovative design featuring cold formed steel sections provides a very lightweight structural solution. \u00a3256,000.<\/li>\n
  • Project: Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades<\/strong>
    \nNew sub-station and alterations to an existing substation to accommodate new transformer. \u00a3500,000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Client: Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust<\/em><\/p>\n

    • Project: Outpatients refurbishment and Antenatal extension<\/strong>
      \nPhased refurbishment of an operational outpatients department and extension of antenatal accommodation by infilling an existing undercroft. Project value \u00a31.3m<\/li>\n
    • Project: Maternity Ward refurbishment<\/strong>
      \nRefurbishment of maternity ward. Project value \u00a3293,000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
